A MORTE NO IMAGINÁRIO DE UM POETA DO ULTRARROMANTISMO: UMA LEITURA DA OBRA POÉTICA DE ÁLVARES DE AZEVEDO

Abstract

This paper has as theme the presence of death in the poetic production of one of the most eminent Brazilian poets of the nineteenth century, Alvares de Azevedo. This work has as main objective to analyze ways in which a situation, event or even concept produced by human creative mind, were explored during the production of this artist. The methodology used is limited to critical analysis of theoretical works that deal with the issues that are relate to the theme proposed in this article, as well as the literary works of the author in study.
