Thisworkhelpstoprovideusefulevidencetoobtainanincreaseoftheschoolcoverageduringbaccalaureatecycle(middleeducation)fromEcuador.Theproposalisbasedonaneffectiveness-costanalysisfromtwoalternatives:InformationcampaignsaboutreturnstoeducationandConditionedTransferences incash.Bothpolicieswouldhaveapositive impactonthescholarexistence inthebaccalaureatecycle.Thisstudy let inferthat inEcuadoriancase,andondifferentestablishedstages,theInformationCampaignalternativeismoreeffective-costthanthealternativebasedonConditionedTransferencesincash.ResultsshowthattheadditionalannualcostofscholarityforthecaseofInformationCampaignsrepresentsthe22%and24%oftheresultingcostfromtheConditionedTransferenceswithfocusinganduniversaltransferencerespectively.
