Abstract

After examining some aspects of the phenomenon of violence from history, technology and culture, the author analyses some aspects of Italian and international homicide statistics in order to clarify similarities and differences between them.Then, some changes regarding the phenomenon of homicide related to globalization and democratization of the use of the Internet are taken into account.
