In recent years, immunotherapy has been continuously developed, and the safety and efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with intracranial radiotherapy for melanoma brain metastasis have been initially recognized. However, there is no consensus on whether immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with intracranial radiotherapy for lung cancer brain metastasis has similar synergistic effects. The best combination time and the benefit group of immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with intracranial radiotherapy need to be further explored. This article reviews the advances in combined therapy of intracranial radiotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors on patients with lung cancer brain metastasis.
