Key Clinical Message Acute valve thrombosis after bioprosthetic aortic valve replacement even under anticoagulation therapy is extremely rare. Cardiac computed tomography is a powerful imaging tool to detect valve thrombosis, and surgery is necessary in case of unstable hemodynamics.
