COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN OF ELASTIC COUPLING WITH METALLIC MEMBRANES USING SOLID MODELING

Abstract

This paper analyses, during the life cycle of an elastic coupling with metallic membranes, the necessity to use computer graphics in the design process of the coupling, starting from the conception and achievement step of the principle schemes, to the geometric model analysis of the product (from the view- point of mechanical strength criterion and stability to static and dynamic stress), until the final stage of prototype tests.
