Abstract

This special NETCOM Journal issue is dedicated in tribute to its founder: Professor Henry Bakis, on the occasion of his new status of Emeritus. This article presents the career of one of the first Geographers to explore and outline Telecommunication Networks and their Spatial effects. It is completed, in this volume, by his detailed bibliography compiled by Sabrina Mommolin.
