Performance indicators used in rice processors: a study in rice growing in Campanha-RS

Abstract

The search for greater competitiveness is present in all markets. In the agribusiness sector, strongly impacted by new global trends (products and production methods), this fact is even more important. The paddy sector is an important segment of agribusiness, especially in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). On the other hand, the use of indicators is recommended as an important ally for monitoring production factors, to allow the organization to reach its goals. The objective of this study was to determine how paddy sector organizations in Campanha, RS use the factors of production as a way to monitor their processes.
