Criticism and Technology: Between Applications, Principles, and an Experiment

Abstract

Within the developer community, the application tools for the digital editing management represent a challenging field of study. The features of the developed applications show a dominant trend: the creation of online tools able to manage the entire process, from the production to the dissemination of the digital edition. If the tool is a key component, the digital method is certainly not irrelevant to forcing us to rethink the practices of traditional publishing. In order to analyze this aspect, an implementation of a web application, capable of handling heterogeneous services, is presented.
