A new concept of antiaircraft gun fire control, using sensors that provide automatic target position measurement and servosystems that provide automatic positioning of weapon, is proposed. The Taylor polynomial is used to predict target position at the time of impact. Its coefficients are the parameters of target motion. Its order depends on the type of target motion. Parameters of target motion are estimated using the sequence of measured target positions, various hypotheses of target motion and interacted parallel Kalman filters. The proposed estimation procedure provides the determination of hypotheses, probabilities as well as the determination of the applied Taylor polynomial power. The proposed concept enables autonomous and resistant air defense.
