El viento superficial en el noroeste de México
Abstract
This paper is the space–time analysis of surface winds in the northwest of Mexico. It intents to evaluate the geographic distribution of potential wind power. Four months were examined: January, April, July and October, the most frequent winds present two main directions: west and southwest. Winds at maximum speed appear in some places of the shore and high slope of mountains. Areas of maximum potential wind power have the same spatial distribution.
