Current trends in the treatment of bronchial asthma

Abstract

Bronchial asthma is a widespread disease of the respiratory system and has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients, including elite athletes. The main objectives of the treatment of asthma is to achieve symptom control, prevent exacerbations and prevent the development of complications. The article describes approaches to the management and choice of treatment tactics for patients with asthma who play sports professionally.
