Une violence invisible ? La recrudescence des assassinats dans le Brésil rural

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of President Dilma Rousseff’s impeachment on the poor rural population in Brazil. It shows that the already precarious situation has deteriorated alarmingly with the increase of murders and massacres (murdering of three people or more according to the definition of the Pastoral Land Commission) in 2016 and 2017.
