CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE CURRENT STATE OF COMPUTER SOLUTIONS USED IN DESIGNING AUTOMOTIVE PARTS
Abstract
With the development of technologies in a car, design solutions have also been forced to evolve. If 100 years ago the design solutions were a drawing board, ruler and pencil, they have now been replaced by computer and CAD applications. Then we could just imagine the complexity of the design of a piece, but today we can materialize it. New requirements and challenges arise with the discovery of new materials and new processing technologies.
