Rehabilitative Treatment of Patients with Acid Depending Diseases on Sanatorium and Spa Level
Abstract
Purpose: Development of methods for differentiation of sanatorium treatment of acid depending diseases to improve restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of life quality for these patients. Materials and methods: 500 patients with complicated forms of acid depending diseases in the fading aggravation phase, including 80 patients - at the stage of follow-up care after hospitalization - are examined and treated. Results: The high efficiency of treatment complexes which includes anti-ulcer drugs, drinking mineral water, carbonated hydrosulphuric baths and one of the physiotherapy techniques. Recurrence of erosive and ulcerative process in such complex spa treatment is observed only in 10-16% of patients, which is another evidence of the advantages we offer for the medical treatment technologies of complicated forms of acid depending diseases. Summary: Treatment of patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease of I-III st., with chronic erosive gastroduodenitis, frequently relapsing duodenal ulcer in fading aggravation phase is appropriate and prescribed.
