Ad memoriam E.A. Begovatov (1937–2015)

Abstract

Evgeniy A. Begovatov obituary shows his significant contribution to the development of methods of mathematical statistics in relation to archaeological and archaeo-zoological materials of the Volga and cis-Urals areas. E.A. Begovatov is known also as skilled numismatist and discoverer of many sites, such as the burial grounds of Tenishevo (Aeneolithic Age), Murzikha 2 (Early Metal Epokh) and others.
