Background & Objective: Identification, prevention and treatment of childhood disorders, has always been considered. Objective this study wasassessed the validity and realiabity of thePersian version of high-functioning autism spectrum screening questionnaire age 7-12 (ASSQ)among the Iranian population.Materials & Methods: This study was Quasi experimental and methodological. Methods: In the first translation of the instrument, including forward and backward translation, and face validity of the translated version in regard with coss-culural characteristics reliability and validity assessment of the Persian translation on an Iranian normal and clinical child age 7-12. for test-retest at an interval of 14 days from 33 parent and teacher of autism spectrum disorder requested to complete the questionare. To Assess validity of Persian version ASSQ used content validity and concurrent validity between Persian versions of Rutter scale( parent/teacher) scale, Persian version of CSI-4 scale (parent/teacher) in autism spectrum group. Evantually, data from study groups were analyzed. Results: For internal consistency with the Cronbach alpha in parent nomal child before omittion of irrelevant item (0/76) and after omittion (0/77), in teaher nomal child before omittion of irrelevant item's (0/77) and after omittion (0/81), in parent of autism spectrum disorder group after omittion of irrelevant item's (0/65) and in teacher autism spectrum disorder group after omittion of irrelevant item (0/70) were computed. Test-retest reliability correlation time 1 and 2 in 34 parent autism spectrum group (r=0/467) in 34 teacher )r=0/614) was obtained. Content validity after omittion 6 items' (14, 19, 20, 21, 25. 27) in 21 item's over 0/3 assessed. Concurrent validity of parent ASSQ and parent Rutter scale( r=0/715), teacher ASSQ and teacner Rutter (r=0/495), parent ASSQ and parent CSI-4 scale) r=0/486), teacher ASSQ and teacher scale (r=0/411) were computed and statically significant. Coclusion: ASSQ – Persian version as a optimal valid; reliabil instrument to screen of High-functioning autism spectrum age 7-12 in the Iranian population.
