The lavra of hermetia illucens l. in the diet of broiler poultry
Abstract
A study was conducted to study the effect of PVMM “Innovation BAC” from the hydrolyzed larva of Hermetia Illucens L. in the composition of drinking water of the diet on the growth rate, livestock safety, and feed conversion into live weight gain when raising broiler chickens of the «COBB 500» cross. A 42−day experiment was conducted on four groups of «COBB 500» broilers (n=50) in order to select the optimal dose of the new PVMM Innovation BAC for addition to drinking water for broilers from 1 to 21 days and from 22 to 37 days of cultivation. Drinking water in the control group was supplied to chickens without additives. In the experimental groups, in the period from 1 to 21 days, PVMM “Innovation BAC” was injected into drinking water in three dosages, from 2.5 (0.025%) to 7.5 ml (0.075%), with an interval of 2.5 ml / 10.0 liters of drinking water. The optimal dose of PVMM “Innovation BAC” as part of drinking water, in the amount of 5.0 ml / 10 l − up to 21 days and 10.0 ml / 10 l − from 22 to 37 days of cultivation, allowed to increase the live weight gain of COBB-500 cross broilers by 11.2%.
