The article reflects on the use of oral sources in the construction of historical narrative, trying to question the most important links of the arts of memory and historical time, understanding that the stories reported are, above all, events and trajectories of remembered lives - individual memory and collective. The reports are not mere expositions of memory, but a look through plural time, a look that builds, deciphers, reveals and allows passage from time to time. At the same time, updating the past in the present and reading the past as the invention of the present.
