The article presents the results of the analysis of the technological support of the Russian chemical industry conducted by the authors following the results of 2022, including the characteristics of fixed assets of universal and specialized equipment in terms of changes in the book value of machinery and equipment, equipment wear. It is shown that the deterioration of the situation for the Russian chemical complex has not significantly affected the stability of established production facilities of domestic enterprises producing chemical goods important for the country's economy. The production of plastics, ammonia and methanol is equipped with the most modern equipment, stable production of calcined and caustic soda, tires and rubber products, as well as the production of mineral fertilizers have the greatest wear. A negative factor is the dependence of the chemical complex on the import of foreign high-tech equipment to a high degree of digitalization and automation, which applies to almost all productions of the Russian chemical complex, which did not prevent us from concluding that the positive trend.
