This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the literature that explores the development of the social conditions by creating a complex business in the equestrian sector. This sector is an important pillar for the environment, the economic and social environment. The horse sector has varied and evolved differently in recent decades, with changes in the understanding of the concept of horse industry being observed in the disciplines of economics, agro-zootechnical, social and even ecological sciences. While much research focuses on understanding and defining this sector, different business models emerge, models that focus their attention on changing in favor of the social factor. Our study aims to evaluate and analyze the evolution and quality of information for the social side of the equestrian sector. This paper undertakes an examination of “social entrepreneurship”, considering the combination of social and equestrian elements in the development of a business.
