DEVELOPMENT OF THE DNIEPER RIVER VALLEY IN THE AREA OF THE KOPAN ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE (BELARUS)

Abstract

Kopan microregion is a group of the Stone and Bronze Ages archaeological sites, located in the section of the Dnieper River valley (about 30 sq. km) between Rechytsa town and Kopan village (eastern Belarus). The aim of the study is to reconstruct the history of this section of the Dnieper River valley. The paper presents the results of field studies of the relief and sediments.
