Abstract

“Poet’s historical costume. Masked ball by Tomasz Sikorski” is a sketch related to Wojciech Bąk’s biography. Narration is the main subject of this study, in correspondence to Sikorski’s formula of a pretext biography. The author analyzes means of character creation from historical, political and literary perspective. A relation between an individual and a collectiveness in a political biography, is being discussed as well. This article is related to Sikorski’s narrative conception, main character identity issues, addresses of the Masked Ball, singular and collective character creation – in this very order. The summary involves a short analyzes of photographs included in the book.
