Abstract This web-based tutorial is designed for senior-level medical students, and radiology or surgery residents or fellows. It includes an introduction to the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BIRADS) nomenclature and categories for description in breast imaging, as well as 12 interactive teaching cases, consisting of mammographic and ultrasound images and pathologic specimens with colored rollovers and clickable parts of the images and associated teaching points. Each case includes history, images, and self-assessment questions with answers. Anecdotally, learners have noted that the module is easy to use, provides good visual qualities, is accessible, and is helpful in organizing their thoughts about how to work up a breast lesion. The interactive web-based format provides a very dynamic platform that engages users.
