Presents the first results of geoinformation-cartographic modeling the diffusion of innovations in Russian agriculture. Based on the specialized GIS "Innovation in the subjects of Russian Federation" revealed objective regularities of diffusion of innovation in a direction away from the big cities and leading-research and development centers to peripheral regions of the country.
