This article proposes to value the usefulness of life stories, as an ethnographic resource, within the field of Pedagogy and Didactics. The stories of life, education and culture separately have their radius of action, but grouped according to a single objective, the synergistic links between them are broadened and become evident. The synergy that is produced, with the implementation of the Life Stories, affects the modes of action of the young students who pursue university careers in the town of Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba. It is the starting point, both theoretical and practical, for the conception of a project, to be carried out in that town, rector of the Municipal University Center. Different activities are carried out with satisfactory results.
