The current contribution aims at exploring the main contents and implications drawn from the volume Mapping Modern Beijing. Space, emotion, literary topography, written by 芥偉쌤 (Weijie Song) and published in 2018. The analysis proposed here will particularly focus on the various literary representations of Beijing, in terms of topographic and emotional mapping, examined by the author in relation with the works of different modern Chinese and Sinophone writers.
