Entrer par les coulisses dans les parcours en protection de l’enfance : une approche par les pairs

Abstract

At the intersection of a sociology of the life course and a sociology of childhood, this article invites us to take an interest in horizontal socialization, in relations between children, in the in child protection paths. Based on a peer-interviews, this research aims to better understand the breaks, turning points and bifurcations in the paths of children in care. At three stages of the journey: the exit from the family environment, the installation and movement in care, and the exit of care, we try to analyze the crucial role that children can play in the construction of continuities and discontinuities in life course.
