Numerical investigation of fluid flow of falling drops in a jet-bubble contact device
Abstract
Proposed is a jet-bubbling contact device for mass transfer apparatus. A distinctive feature of the jet-bubble contact devices is the original organization of interaction between the gas and the liquid, allows to intensify the mass transfer processes in a relatively simple hardware design. The results of the study to determine the average value of the Reynolds number for the falling drops.
