The main theme of this research is the reading comprehension, arises and valued a proposal for intervention in a primary school. The participants were both second grade parallel groups, called control and experimental, to this last one, strategies are applied at the time previus reading, to subsequently make a comparison between the two groups in relation to reading comprehension levels. It has a quantitative approach. The clinical method was used. Data collection techniques are the interview and observation, simultaneously. The results indicated that what has been done was not enough to establish significant differences between the groups, arriving that required more time and reading events so that the results can be sufficiently conclusive. The use of the device of inquiry for further tests or investigations is rescued.
