This study aims to analyze the electromagnetic, hydro-thermal characteristics of hybrid nanofluid (Fe3O4-CoFe2O4/EG-water) flow over a permeable plate considering the Thompson and Troian slip, and suction/injection effects. By employing suitable similarity transformations, the governing partial differential equations (PDEs) describing the flow are converted into a set of highly nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). These transformed equations are computationally solved using the “bvp4c technique” in MATLAB. The detailed graphs illustrate the impact of various factors for instance, the Hartmann number, electric parameter, velocity slip parameter, critical shear rate, permeability parameter, heat generation/absorption parameter and suction/blowing parameter on velocity and temperature distributions. Also, the tabular data facilitates a detailed quantitative examination of these influences. The velocity and temperature profiles exhibit opposite nature influenced by factors such as the Hartmann number, velocity slip, critical shear rate, permeability parameter, and suction/blowing effects. Furthermore, as the critical shear rate, velocity slip, permeability and suction/blowing parameters increase, so do the absolute values of the Nusselt number. Conversely, higher heat generation/absorption parameter and Eckert number cause a decrease in these absolute values.
