The goal of this paper is to construct a novel model based on the recently modified Green and Lindsay model to study the bio-thermo-mechanical responses induced by uniform laser radiation in a thermoelastic biological skin tissue. The biological tissue’s upper surface experiences heat loss, whereas the lower surface is insulated and both are traction-free. A general solution for this model was achieved by applying the Laplace transformation while its inversion was computationally attained by employing the Riemann sum approximation formula. A numerical example is used to show the consistency of the new model with earlier models where the graphical behaviour of our findings is concise with the well-known physical facts and some of them could be useful in dermatology and cosmetic.
