Introducción al taller de sepsis de occidente Introduction to the sepsis worksop of the west side of the country
Abstract
Se presentan las palabras introductorias al Taller de Sepsis de Occidente. Evento organizado por la sección cubana de la Alianza para el Uso Prudente de Antibióticos, celebrado el 12 de marzo del 2010 en el Policlínico Pedro Borrás Astorga, en Ciudad de La Habana. Se revisó la literatura disponible en la página Web APUA Cuba y se resumieron las ideas principales a transmitir en el Evento. Se destaca la importancia del neumococo, el S. aureus, bacilos Gram negativos y enterococo, como gérmenes problema y el papel de la lectura comentada del antibiograma en su identificación y abordaje terapéutico. El problema de la resistencia bacteriana como parte del daño ecológico y consecuencia del uso imprudente de los antibióticos.We present the initial words for the Occident Sepsis Workshop. Event organized by the Cuban section of Prudent Alliance for the Use of Antibiotics, that took place on March 12th in 2010 in Pedro Borras Astorga Policlinic, Havana city. The literature of the Web page of PAUA Cuba is revised and the principal concepts to communicate in the event are abstracted. : the importance of neumococus, S. aureus, Gram negative rods and enterococo, as problematic germens so as the commented lecture of antibiogram for their identification and management are remarked. The problems of bacterial resistance are part of the ecologic damage and consequences of the imprudent use of antibiotics.
