Evoluția raportului public-privat în sistemul de sănătate din România postcomunistă

Abstract

In this article, my intention is to analyse the way the national health system of Post-communist Romania evolved from the relationship public-private point of view. In order to attain such an analysis and to have a good understanding of this sinuous evolution from Semashko to Bismarck model, I will concentrate, in the first section of my article, over the specific manner that allowed the metamorphosis of the legislative framework, so as to ensure the phased transition from a centralized model of the public health system to a liberal one. In the second section you will find an analysis of the reforms that the health system in Post-communist Romania went through, the final section having the role of emphasizing the role played, in this transitive context, by the National House of Health Insurance.
