ROMAN ARMY AND SALT EXPLOITATION IN SÂNPAULMĂRTINIȘ- OCLAND AREA

Abstract

The author investigates both archaeologically and epigraphically the Sânpaul-Mărtiniș-Ocland area fro Roman Dacia, putting in connection the presence of the Roman army and the salt exploitation. He presents the results of some surveys he made in the area and corroborates these results with the epigraphic containing attestation of the Roman army and of clerks involved in the administration of salt exploitation.
