SOBRE A POLISSEMIA DA VIOLÊNCIA DE ESTADO NO BRASIL: apontamentos para sua análise e compreensão
Abstract
The article intends to explore the polysemy of sociological interpretations about violence and its implications for the conformation of the thematic field on the subject in the country. From this perspective, the text seeks to understand, from a bibliographical analysis of the international and national literature, the interpretative potential of the different analytical records that investigate the phenomenon. Exploring the forms of violence and sociological interpretations that gained visibility in our last dictatorial period (1964-1985) and in our recent democratic experience, violence can be grasped from the obvious, the factual, where actions or behaviors that fit the profile of the disturbance of limits are considered violent, and / or since their meaning, where qualifications and judgments emerge from the relationships that give it shape and expressiveness.
