An essay on the unpublished manuscript of "Tuhfat ul-Murshidin Min Hikayat ul-Salihin"
Abstract
The present article is a research on the manuscript version of "Tuhfat ul-Murshidin Min Hikayat ul-Salihin", which is actually a translation of the mystical text "Rowz ul-Riahin Min Hakkayat ul-Salihin", which is one of the most important texts of the 8th century AH and also one of the important sources of Jami in the authorship of "Nafhat-ul-Uns". Two manuscripts of this translation have been found, one in Punjab dating to 818 AH and the other in Hagia Sophia dating to 838 AH. One of the most important motivations of the translator in translating this precious work is that from the 8th century A.H. onwards, in the Murshidiyah tomb of Kazerun, the followers of this famous Way became interested in writing and reading the stories, statuses and merits of their elders from Arabic to Persian.
