Abstract

This paper throws a light on a first investigation of the wooden ceiling market in relation to Stefano Bardini’s antiques business, starting from a partial examination of the Archivio Storico Eredità Bardini in Florence and from the analysis of some paradigmatic cases that occurred during the Eighties and Nineties of the 19th century.
