Professional Training of Tourist Guides in Ukraine in the Light of European Requirements

Abstract

The article examines the place and role of the tour guide in the context of active use of IT technologies in tourism and excursion activities at the present stage, the issue of its preparation in the aspect of the use of European standards and offers the proposals to create a professional standard for a tourist guide.
