This study aims at discovering the textual relations that permeate through the domain that binds writing, identity and Jewishness together in Jacques Derrida’s Writing and Difference. What is emphasized, here, is the realization of the Jewish identity through writing. This study explains how Derrida’s ideology aims at snowing textual reading of texts as a wandering Jew would, and to highlight how writing, on the other hand, proves to be demean simulating life in projecting identity, which might be realized or re-enforced by ideology.
