Command and information system of the Logistic School Center

Abstract

The command and information system of the logistic school center (KIS - PoŠC) is presented in the paper. The project KIS - PoŠC is applied in order to work out, thoroughly and functionally, the procedure prescribed by law - the algorithm for commanding the schooling and educational process in the system of schooling of noncommissioned officers and mechanics for Yugoslav Army logistic services. The integral information system, of a modular type and with open architecture, modernizes and improves the command process according to all functions. Its application in the Yugoslav Army schooling system enables a modem approach to the realization of integral processes: design, programming and evaluation of the schooling and educational process. Besides the already realized effects, special effects are expected in the field of teaching process modernization by introducing new teaching techniques and organizational forms into the teaching process and the education of a qualified personnel for the Yugoslav Army.
