Background: Shrikhandasavam is a wellknown Ayurvedic medication intended to cure the negative effects of alcohol and other intoxicating drugs, such as hangovers, as well as related issues like as headaches, alcohol intoxication, indigestion, and so on. It also regulates insanity and other disorders caused by induced pita. Aim: The current work uses established techniques to test the antioxidant activity for one Ayurvedic drug, Srikhandasavam, which is used to treat alcoholism and preserve the liver. Methods: The antioxidant assay was performed through ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis (3ethylbenzothiazoline6sulphonic acid), DPPH (2, 2diphenyl1 picryl hydrazyl, and FRAP (Ferric reducing antioxidant potential). Results: It was discovered that Srikhandasavam produced outstanding results at extremely low doses in the FRAP experiment when compared to the ABTS and DPPH assays, which revealed modest antioxidant activity of the drug. Conclusion: These findings clearly show the antioxidant properties of Srikhandasavam, demonstrating its therapeutic benefits.
