For the welded plate heat exchangers in service, problems such as shortened working life due to the corrosion of the plates are still unavoidable. This paper reviews the application environment, structural style and corrosion type of plate heat exchangers. In addition, the research and relevant progress of solving the corrosion problem of welded plate heat exchangers by applying coating technology were summarized. Finally, the future development direction of anti - corrosion technology for welded plate heat exchangers was prospected.
