Practicinga specificphysical activityduring pregnancyhelpspreventdifficultiesduring labor, birthandpostpartumrecovery period. Forall the changesand demandsbeing placed onthe bodyduring pregnancy, simplestructurescommonwater gymnastics relieve sufferingand prepareforthe upcomingbirthmother.Swimming andwateraerobic exerciserequires nospecial equipmentandcan be practicedby pregnant womenwithout anyriskdue tocontrolledmovements, executed in water.Water exercises are considered someof the most complexand unusualsports,they do not presentspecificrestrictions of mostsports.For eachchangethat occursin the bodyduring pregnancy, aquaticexerciseand swimmingcan help toadapt ittothe child andrelievesdiscomfortcommonlywornduringtrainingmusclesforchildbirth.Women should notgive upexerciseduring pregnancy.Ifno otherpoint of view, they shouldexerciseto strengthenthe bodyand prepare forbirth.Moderateexerciseduring pregnancyhelps preventexcessiveincreaseinweightandrapid recoveryafter birth.
