Rezistenţa la tracţiune a semănătorilor rotative
Abstract
Abstract. The major factors that influence the traction resistance of seed drills are: specific resistance of different soil types, seeding depth, shape of work organs, etc. The paper presents a comparative analysis of the traction resistance of the rotary seed drill and coulter seed drill (standard). The data reveal a linear dependence between traction resistance and the length (4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 cm) of the seed embedding device. With an increase of 2 cm in the seed embedding device length, traction resistance increases by 11,5 … 8,5%. Traction resistance of both coulter and rotary seed drills increases as working speed is raised (1,85; 2,19; 2,55; 3,09 and 3,63 m/s), but the traction resistance of the rotary drill is by 1,4 … 2,11% less, because the coulter meets a greater friction force than the seed embedding device of the rotary drill.
