Abstract

The pr&ograve;blem of the winds determinatimi in the high<br />atmospliere by the Sodium-and-Lithium cloud teclinique is considered and<br />a review is presented of the data reduction methods most commonly used<br />in various countries. Particular a t t e n t i o n is devoted to the italian metliod<br />whicli is i l l u s t r a t e d in some details in order to provide a complete solution<br />t o the problem.
