Some strategies for improving public services of earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation in Gansu Province

Abstract

In the new era, with the rapid development of economy and society of China, the public put forward higher demand for public safety, personal safety, property safety and environmental safety, and then put forward the demand for a high-quality and high-efficiency service of earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation. This paper reviews basic concepts of public services concerning earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation, analyzes the current status of such services at the national and provincial levels, respectively, and presents some strategies on how to improve these services.
