The sample of the study included 159 white-collar employees of a business operating in the manufacturing sector. Research data was obtained by convenient sampling method and electronic survey. According to the results of the research, self-righteousness dimension of perceived overqualification had a significant effect on cognitive and behavioral cynicism from the dimensions of organizational cynicism. It was concluded that the regression model, in which the regulatory role of personality traits dimensions was tested in the effect of perceived overqualification on the dimensions of organizational cynicism, was not significant. In recent years, the number of over-qualified employees shows a growing trend as a function of social and economic problems. It is important that the perception of overqualifications that employees have can be managed without causing negative organizational consequences, such as organizational cynicism.
