Corrosive injuries of the upper gastrointestinal tract due to button batteries often require a multidisciplinary approach due to the potential for multiple complications. We present two cases of button battery ingestion in toddlers; one patient developed a corrosive tracheoesophageal fistula and the other a localized perforation.
