The migrant minorities - linguistic, religious, geographic or national - become established in urban spaces geographically remote some of the others, but which articulate the residential, commercial, educational, symbolic or political functions. These territories are thought as totalities by the migrants, connecting beyond the national borders of families native of the same region. However, this article will limit itself to the study of a fraction of these territories: a residential area occupied mainly by migrants native of the region mixtèque of the state of Oaxaca and established in the city of Tijuana, in the North of Mexico, where they live with the other migrants resulting from all the country. The objective is to study the distribution of the regional or ethnic influences in small territories, occupied by populations of various origins, the observation and the analysis of the practices of the life in common, notably through institutions as churches and the schools which gather most of the inhabitants, any confused geographic and social previous history.
